Since its inception in 1972, George & Son's HVAC has been a trusted provider of heating and cooling services, now operating as the premier HVAC company in Darien, IL. Serving a broad area including towns from Darien to West Chicago, and from Yorkville to Oswego, our family business has prospered through three generations, over 50 years, and remains committed to excellence in residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC solutions.

Our office hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with available appointments on Saturdays. It won't me write another review, so I'll edit and add to my first one from before. July 2025: I've used George & Son's a couple of times before for some maintenance and small repairs, so when I was having A/C issues, I didn't hesitate to call them again. As expected, it was finally time to replace our A/C and furnace, which had a refrigerant leak and used outdated freon. They were not only quick to come out for the initial demand service call, but they were able to get me scheduled later that same week to install the new furnace and A/C. While I had them here, we realized the water heater was also past its expected service time so they were able to replace that for me too. Nick, Rocco, and Brad were so courteous, professional, and great at their trade that I didn't find having them in our home for 3 straight days to be an inconvenience, but a welcome addition. I cannot think of a higher compliment to give. George stopped by daily as well to check in and provided sound, honest advice and information. This family-owned company is one you don't want to hesitate to call if you ever need any HVAC needs. It's nice to feel fresh cool air again! Original From 2020: Cannot say enough good things about George and his company. I had John and Jerry come out to do the installation and they were extremely courteous, prompt and professional. They were able to come out and fix my humidifier less than 48 hours after initial contact. They were clean and friendly and walked me through what they did, how to work it and what to look for in my HVAC system. Great job and will definitely keep using them!

Process was less than two weeks. From initial quote to install. Replacement outdoor HVAC, and not an easy one. George throughly explained product information along with and provided expert recommendations. FYI his recommendation was not the most expensive. On the job site first thing this morning: George, Chris, Brad, Racco, Mark. (told you it was not an easy install) Equipment was here bright and early, no waiting. Guys kept me informed along the process. No surprises when Gas or Electricity was shut off or turned on. Warned that there would be a smell when the heat was tested. (Smoke Alarms - worked) Clean worksite. Who makes it all work, the woman in the office - the glue that holds it all together. (I apologize for not remembering your name) Provided scheduling, rescheduling, reminders of appointments, and a text the morning of the install. What more can you ask for.?!? Replacing a HVAC system is never fun but they made it as painless as possible. 5 Stars out of 5
